Kailash and Lake Mansarovar Tour -16 Days

On the first day of your Kailash Mansarovar tour, you will arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal. From there, you will check into your hotel and spend the night resting and preparing for your journey ahead.

The second day of your trip is dedicated to applying for a Chinese visa and exploring the city of Kathmandu. You will have ample opportunity to visit some of the most famous landmarks in Kathmandu, such as Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and others.

On day three, you will complete your biometric process with the Chinese visa embassy in Kathmandu. After this is finished, you can spend some time sightseeing on Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

The fourth day of your trip is dedicated to exploring nature at Khokana and Bungmati villages near Kathmandu. These villages offer beautiful scenery as well as unique cultural experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in Nepal.

On day five of your trip, you will have an opportunity to explore nature at Chandragiri Hills in Nepal before heading to China. This area offers stunning views of Mt Everest as well as opportunities to go hiking or trekking in order to get closer to nature’s beauty and serenity. 

On day six of your trip, you will receive your Chinese visa and begin preparing for the Kailash tour itself by packing necessary items such as warm clothing and trekking gear. You should also be sure to bring any important documents such as passports or visas with you on this leg of the journey so that they are easily accessible when needed during travel days.

On day seven of your trip, you will make your way from Nepal’s border town towards Keyrong where you will meet up with China guides who will help facilitate crossing over from Nepal into China’s territory smoothly and safely before staying at Phuntsok Rebsal hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

The eighth day of your journey sees you making progress towards Saga where you will stay at Shengda holiday hotel or similar on BB basis while enjoying stunning views along the way such as those provided by Pekutso Lake which is located near Kyirong town centre before continuing onwards towards Saga later that evening/night time depending on travel times/schedules.

Day nine is when you reach Mansarovar Lake after traveling through rolling hills from Saga – this is a great opportunity to take in some beautiful views across the lake while staying overnight at a guest house on a BB basis before continuing onward with the tour tomorrow morning..

On day ten of your Kailash Mansarovar tour, you will make a roundtrip journey from Darchen back to Manasarovar Lake which involves driving through stunning landscapes that offer picturesque views along the way before returning back again later that evening/night time depending on travel times/schedules. During this time period, you can stay overnight at a simple hotel near Manasarovar Lake if desired prior to continuing onward with the tour tomorrow morning.

The eleventh day sees you making progress towards Dirapuk after performing Shiva Pooja rituals at Tarboche which involves trekking through mountainscapes offering breathtaking views along the route before reaching your destination late afternoon/evening depending on travel times/schedules.

On day twelve, you continue towards Juthulpuk after leaving Dirapuk early morning whereupon arrive late afternoon/evening. You can rest up overnight by staying at a guesthouse located nearby prior to continuing onward with the tour tomorrow morning.

The thirteenth day sees progress made back towards Saga after leaving Juthulpuk early morning whereupon arrival late afternoon/evening depending on travel times/schedules etc.,you can collect all people who accompanied throughout tour prior driving.

On day fourteen of your Kailash Mansarovar Trip, you will continue onwards from Saga towards Kyirong while taking some time along the way to admire the Shisha Bangma mountain range from Pekutso. Upon arriving at Kyirong, you can check into Phuntsok Rebsal Hotel or similar accommodation options that offer bed and breakfast facilities for convenience.

On the fifteenth day, your group would cross the international border between Tibet (China) and Nepal after completing all formalities related to immigration.

On day 16, travelers depart back home after having an amazing experience of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra which includes spiritual enlightenment along with the mesmerizing natural beauty of the Himalayas mountains & lakes during 16 16-day long journey full of adventure & fun memories.
