India Tour -11 Days

Upon arrival, you will be received at the airport in New Delhi and transferred to the hotel, where a warm traditional welcome awaits you, complete with garlands, a welcome drink, and sweets. Overnight, stay at the hotel.

In the morning, go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi after breakfast. The highlights of the first half of the tour are Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; Red Fort; busy and narrow winding streets of old Chandni Chowkbazaar and its delicacies, all of which are situated in Old Delhi. The second half of the tour concentrates on New Delhi and has Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House, President’s Residence and. an overnight stay at the hotel.

Drive to Agra (which was the capital of the Mughal Empire for a long time) after breakfast, which takes about four to five hours. Start your sightseeing tour of Agra by visiting the Agra Fort, which was built by three Mughal emperors. Akbar started the construction but died before the fort was complete. After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive 28 km from Afraon on the way to Jaipur to visit The Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight, stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we proceeded to visit the Amber Fort, located11kilometers away from Jaipur. En route, visit the Hawa Mahal. Amber was the ancient capital of the Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant(Optional) to reach the gates of the fort. In the afternoon, take a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work, which is a specialty of Jaipur. In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir- a Hindu temple built in white marble and City Palace in the afternoon, which is still the formal residence of the royal family. Also visit Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Deo Temple and the City Palace Museum which as a private collection of Jaipur Maharajas. We also visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel &drive to Pushkar, one of the most important pilgrimage places of Hindus, which is famed for having the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. Visit Dargah Sharif at Ajmer on the way to Pushkar. At Pushkar, visit the famous Brahma Temple and if you are lucky, you may be able to witness the famous camel fair of Pushkar too. Take a holy dip in the Pushkar Lake and visit its52 bathing Ghats and more than 500 temples, each having its own legends of miraculous powers and powers of healing and displaying a variety of architectural styles. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city as most of the houses in the old city are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates. On your tour of Jodhpur, you visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India, with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later proceed to visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. You also stroll down the markets of Jodhpur. Overnight at the hotel.

This day after breakfast, on time transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Mumbai.
