Description:

Hiking at Dhulikhel and Balathali is a wonderful hiking trip in Nepal. Dhulikhel (1550 m) is one of the nearby destinations from Kathmandu, about 2 hours of driving; you will reach at Dhulikhel once across Bhaktapur and Banepa. From Kathmandu’s hustle and bustle busy life, one can get peace of mind as it is little far from the modern society. You can get the good view of beautiful landscapes with greeneries with different floras. That’s why Dhulikhel is famous for the picnic spot too. People love to enjoy with their family and friends in the open air in nature.

The trip starts from Kathmandu, driving about 2 hours to reach at Dhulikhel and you will be hiking to Balathali. On the way, you will visit the Namo Buddha. It is one of the most famous landmarks of Buddha’s life. You will see and get to hear the story of how a kind man can devote this much that he fed the hunger tigress his own flesh, cutting by himself. The place is very religious that you will get the aroma of dharma and good being to the people in the air. There is also a stupa where we can find the real astu of Buddha. So, this pure land is worth to visit once. We will go uphill to hike at Balthali. Once we react at the Balthali resort, you will take a rest. The surrounding scenario is fantastic to view its natural scenery and the mountain vistas with a far sight.

We will pick you from your hotel lobby and start driving to Dhulikhel. You will enjoy the scenic driving for about 2 hours. Once we reach at Dhulikhel, you will start hiking to Balathali, which is one of the nearby hiking destinations from where you can explore the natural view and can stay with nature. On the way, you will explore the religious site of the Namo Buddha. It is one of the major landmarks in Buddhism. The present monument represents one of the earlier sane lives of Buddha. You will thrill how a human can sacrifice his life for the sake of human life. You will increase your faith in Buddhism. Uphill hiking to Balthali Village gives you the natural environment with a scenic view of far sight Himalayan Range. Overnight at Balathali Resort.

The early morning welcome you to view the magic sunrise view and you can do some nature walk to energize yourself. The green lush, small river and surrounding mountains range makes you feel enjoy being in nature. After some quality time spending in the nature, you drive back to Kathmandu. The Annapurna Base Camp trek is popular for its astonishing Himalayas range, diverse culture, and landscape, along with varieties of flora and fauna. Your trip journey begins on the first day in Kathmandu. Here you can go for a tour of UNESCO heritage sites that resemble Nepal’s rich history. The next day, you have an early morning flight (25 minutes) to Lake City, Pokhara. You drive 3 hours from Pokhara to reach Kimchi via Naya Pul. Your Annapurna trek officially starts from Kimchi.

The ABC trail goes alongside the paddy field, lush rhododendron forests, pine forests, waterfalls, and high-altitude landscapes. You will also visit Machhapuchhree Base Camp (Mt. Fishtail) on the way, adorned for its unique beauty by adventure lovers.

Annapurna Base Camp is at an altitude of 4095 meters/67,160 ft. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is less intense than the Everest Base Camp Trek. From Kathmandu to Ghandruk - A Scenic Flight and Trek

Upon landing, we’ll head to Kimchi, the starting point of the trek. Your ascent of 2 hours will lead you to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung community. If time permits, we’ll visit the Gurung museum to learn about the ethnic culture of Nepal.
