Accommodation: Our prices are based on twin-sharing basis. That means, at this price, share a room with the next client. If you will sign up the program, then you will share the room with same gender. Further, if you are not comfortable to share with the next person, then you will have to request for single supplement arrangements in advance. Please contact us. We will keep you in a single room in the city and on the lower part of the trek. However, sometimes it is not workable in higher places. We will do our best, but if we can’t, then you may have to adjust.

Once your plane comes closer to Kathmandu, you’ll have beautiful views over the valley, the Himalaya, and of the terraced fields below. After landing and going through customs, a representative from our office will wait to escort you to the hotel. On the way back to hotels/he will inform some details of your trip. After getting some rest, you can stay at the hotel or visit Kathmandu’s cultural highlights. We will have a briefing about your trip to the hotel. In the evening, one of the main tourist hubs of the city, Thamel is a good place to have an evening walk, foods with a variety of restaurants to choose from to offer both Western and local Nepali dishes. We will host a welcome dinner at a Nepalese restaurant to get you to know about Nepalese cuisine.

Included Meals: Dinner

You have an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla that lasts 40 minutes. The flight offers Nepal’s marvelous mountain views throughout. Lukla is a gateway destination for many treks and is where you meet our other crew members. You will have a brief introduction with the staff. You will follow a riverside trail downhill through the Dudh Koshi Valley, passing farms, stone villages, and snow-topped mountains toward your first overnight in Phakding.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

From Phakding, the route crisscrosses the pine-flanked Dudh Koshi river on a steel cable suspension bridge. Please be alert for yaks and other local wildlife that wanders along the same route. The trekking path leads into Sagarmatha National Park, an UNESO-listed nature reserve–home to snow leopards and red pandas. Passing a checkpoint in Monjo to register your trekking permits, we will start a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar–main heart land of Sherpa village. If the weather will be in our favor, then we may just have a glimpse of a first view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse in the distance. After a strenuous uphill hike, you reach the goal of the day, covering the distance of 11 km. You will have time to shop any extra gear you may need. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today, you will take off to relax and acclimatize after gaining a significant altitude. The first day of change with the height, we can use it with short hiking, visiting the market for souvenirs, Sherpa Culture Museum, and so on. You can pay tribute to the first person to summit Everest Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary memorial nearby. In addition, you can have an early morning walk to Sagarmatha National Park and be blessed with the enthralling Himalayan sunrise. Expect the sun kiss on the snow-covered peaks of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and Lhotse. Further, a one-hour walk to the Everest View Hotel, a famous spot for the mesmerizing view of Mount Everest, is worth visiting.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After giving ample rest to your body, you will continue your trek to Phortse Gaon, covering a distance of  9km. Today’s path offers great insights into the life and culture of the Sherpa’s, who are Everest submitter too. Phortse Gaon is a tiny farming village, where potatoes and buckwheat are mostly grown. At the head of valley, you will see stunning Cho Oyu (8153m) mountain and looking out of the village, you can see another magnificent view of Amadablam (6856m).

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Resuming the trek above the tree-line and walking around six hours, we will arrive at Dingboche. Along the trail we cross Pangboche, which is situated opposite of beautiful Ama Dablam. The village locations feed stunning and immersive views of the mountain. Similarly, you will see the region’s oldest monastery and the Buddhist Mani walls. We will continue our walk to Ima Tse Valley and Lobuche river ahead to Dingboche ascend. The barley crops, potato and buckwheat fields, complete with grazing animals dotted along those fields, make the valley picturesque.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After some days’ exhausting walking, you will rest today. Instead of sitting idle, it’s better to do some hiking for better acclimatization. Thus, you can head up along upper Dingboche, which is more traditional compared to lower that is completely modernization – teahouses and guesthouses. You have many options for day hikes, either you can walk to Nagarjunj hills or Chhukhung for beautiful views of Makalu, Lhotse, Cholatse, Tabuche and Ama Dablam. There is also another spot along the ridgeline you can reach on foot, Dolma Ri. You can find a bright player’s flag and the Himalayan vista.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After a day’s rest, you will continue to walk a wide valley just beneath the snow-covered peaks of Cholatse & Tabuche on your left-side. The landscape becomes more remote with thin habitation. Steady climb to Duglha at the end of a terminal moraine of the stunning Khumbu Glacier topples with rippled islands of debris from landslides. The melting snows depicting stunning patterns in the ice. As you continue climbing, you will find many stones on Shukla Pass, decorated in the memorial of the Everest Expedition climbers who lost their life while leading Expedition. The path continues along the slope of the glacier, reaching Lobuche, covering a distance of a total 7 km.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today is the most important day, as you will visit Everest Base Camp. You will need more energy to ascend and cover a distance of approximately 13 km. You wake up early and leave Lobuche at the crack of dawn to catch the sun, reach the summits of the Himalayan peaks. The golden light view of the peaks is one of the rare sights. It’s enjoy achieving sublime.

As you walk above 5000, your walk should be steady and slow. You will transverse Khumbu glacier on your way to Gorak Shep. The place is a simple, rustic setting, with a few basic lodges scattered along harsh and treeless mountain scenery.

After Lunch, you won’t stop and continue walking on Khumbu glacier in your bid to reach Everest Base Camp. Finally, after a long day at high altitude, your pay-off is here. You will take photos, appreciating the surroundings. In springtime, you can see colorful expedition camps. You will return to Gorakshep overnight.

Prepare for an early morning walk to Kala Patthar, the highest point on the trek. Meaning ‘black rock’ in Nepali, you can do Kala Patthar on a single day. The entire day, hard work pays off upon reaching the point, with an unparallel view of the entire Khumbu region below you. Similarly, you will face 360 degree view of the top of the mountain in the world. Carrying unforgettable and exceptional experiences. You will descend to another Sherpa village, Pheriche.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

You walk down through the hillside covered with birch and rhododendron trees. Similarly, you ascend via a small settlement of Orsho and Somare that leads you to Pangboche. From here, continue your walk via the suspension bridge and descend back, brings you to Tengboche, a home to the largest monastery of the Khumbu region. The monastery opens at 3:00 pm. If we arrive early or around that time, you can observe Buddhist religious praying ceremony. Spending a bit of time at Tengboche monastery, you can explore the Sherpa Heritage Foundation museum as well.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Your walk today will mostly be steep. Descend via beautiful forest of rhododendron, fir and juniper. Descend the suspension bridge over the Dudh Khosi River to Phunke Tenga. Further, descend to the base of the valley and another ascend leads to Namche Bazaar. Continue down until you reach Monjo, your stay point for the day.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today marks the last day of your Everest Base Camp trekking. The trail rewards with the amazing views of Kusum Kangaru (6,367m) to Lukla via Benkar. Celebrate this day in the mountain with the crew (guides and porters) and thank them. You can dance and sing sherpa songs enjoying local brew ‘Chhang’ (home-made with rice) as you have a successful trek to the base of Mount Everest.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today, you will bid goodbye to the mountains and catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day, you can take sightseeing in Kathmandu on your own or guided (you can ask us, we are happy to help). In the evening, celebrate the day with the farewell dinner with us.

Your last day in Nepal comes to the end today. Enjoy your last day in Kathmandu with breakfast cafe, city roak and souvenir shopping. A representative will be there at your hotel to pick you up and transfer to the hotel. It’s good to be at the airport before 3 hours before your departure time.

The answer is obviously not because the normal person can easily exceed through the route of EBC.

The accommodation for the trek is comfortable. You will stay in a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu. You will sleep 5 nights in a luxury lodge at either Yeti Mountain Home or Everest Summit. At a higher altitude, you will stay at a standard lodge available.

The weight limit for Lukla flight is 15 kg per person, including a backpack. Thus, pack for the adventure carefully and accordingly.

The trekking equipment for the trip depends on the season. The trek success is directly proportional to the equipment. Therefore, you need to pack as per the requirement. For more details on trekking equipment, kindly check this link.

There is access to charge electronic devices easily in the lower part of the trip. However, at higher altitude electricity is through solar panels so it will be difficult than the lower section. Wherever it is accessed, pay money per hour basis as a fee.

For water, you can bring water sterilizing tablets and 1 – 2 liter space bottles. There is spring or public tap water throughout the trek. Treating the water with tablets is safe to drink. Bottle water too is available at tea houses. However, we do not recommend it for environmental issues. You can buy hot water too at teahouses.
