This route offers endless chances to see mountains, landscapes, forests, and waterfalls. Your trip starts in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, enjoying its four UNESCO heritage sights tours. Then, your journey to the mountains starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, the trek’s official starting point. From here, you will explore an alternative route, avoiding the dusty route and Machha khola in the first section. Trek through Kashigaon is a shade walk and escapes from direct exposure to the sun. Along the way, you will see the beautiful Barpak and Laprak villages. The villages are on the opposite mountain. The place is the epicenter of 2015 earthquake in Nepal.
The alternative trekking route goes through old villages of the region. In this area, the inhabitants are mostly of Gurung’s religion. For the Manaslu trek, the best season is spring (flower blooming season) and fall season. This time is favorable and excellent for trekking in the Manaslu region and around the valley. The spring time is warmer than the autumn season. The environment would be more green and beautiful mountain flowers like rhododendron and golden make the nature more pleasing. For climbing in Nepal, March – May is the best time of the year.
The fall period is the warmer time of the year. Similarly, Mid-September to November is one of the best times for trekking in Nepal. Climbing 6000 m peaks is good to ascend at this time of the year.
