SheNature origin–”We” friends working in the travel field for more than a decade never experience an equal female representation at work. In addition, we did not see any travel organization directly working to create opportunities to empower women. In every field, including tourism, women are under-represented and underpaid in leadership positions. We as workers were also frequently in shade compared to male workers. We were not the first choice for any leadership work. 

In every meeting, we used to have a discussion about it. On a random meet at a coffee table Pre – Covid-19 period, we took a brave decision to collaborate and make our venture to empower ladies together with us. We believe in our abilities and are determined to change the thinking of a male dominated society via tourism. We are passionate and on a mission to inspire women to believe in their own capabilities and bring the difference to their life.

The logic behind our brand name came from the idea ‘She’ presents women and who can protect nature more than women. As a result, we gave the name ‘SheNature’ to our company.

SheNature is in the initial phase of its mission. Because of the pandemic, we have not got enough time to do research. However, our company will donate to women’s education, especially to village girls. We will always boost equality between men and women in our workplace. Also, sponsor a ‘woman’s awareness program. In Nepal, women depend on male unlike western society where women can run their life independently. SheNature aims to instill confidence in women by reminding them that they are the owners of their lives..

This is sure we will work in different sectors to bring genuine change to women’s life. Besides, we are also conscious of natural pollution. As we have a work connection with nature, we want to make it clean. In 2024, Adventure specialists will run a trip to clean up trash at Everest Base Camp to raise awareness about keeping the Himalayas clean..
